Call for Papers
Submissions
Please submit extended abstracts of 300 to 500 words or full papers in English and preferably with a short CV by the submission form on our website. For participation in the best paper award the submission of a full paper is required. Full paper and presentations must be submitted by September 13, 2022 for assignment of a discussant to each presentation. In case of acceptance, all speakers are assumed to accept the role of discussant of another speaker.

The INREC is planed primarely as a face-to-face conference. The COVID situation is followed closely and we reserve the right to make changes to the conference format.

Conference topics
Energy and electricity markets are characterised by a variety of long- and short-term risks and substantial uncertainties. Points in case are the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the accelerating switch to clean energy in Europe, as well as the transition and physical risks of climate change. Thorough investigations of various sources of uncertainty and risk in energy and financial markets are a key priority for researchers and practitioners. We welcome contributions from all areas of energy-related research in economics, finance, engineering, social sciences, data science and mathematics.

GEE Best Paper Award
All submitted papers compete for a Best Paper Award sponsored by the GEE e.V. (German section of the International Association for Energy Economics - IAEE).
Nominees will be requested to submit a full paper and to present in a Best Paper Session. The best paper receives a 500 € prize.
